There are two Training Rooms on Level B1. However, only Training Room 1 is currently open for booking by users who wish to:
  1. Give presentations to a group
  2.  Hold training sessions
  3. Group viewing of audiovisual materials

At other times when the room is not booked, it is open for group discussions. Notices will be placed on the door if there are bookings made.

Take note:  
  1. Training Rooms are not meant for playing games or for social activities.
  2. There must be a minimum of 15 persons up to a maximum of 50 persons for Training Room 1 and maximum of 30 persons for Training Room 2.
  3. No food or drinks are allowed to be consumed in the Training Rooms, except for water.
  4. Maximum period of bookings up to 2 hours per day.
  5. Bookings can be done online via Library homepage at
  6. Users must show up within the first 15 minutes of the booked time slot. If not, bookings will be consider forfeited and may be cancelled by Library staff.
  7. At the Service Counter, users are required to hand in their student/staff ID and obtain the key. The key must also be returned to the Service Counter after use.
  8. User MUST adhere to the following COVID-19 SOP guidelines when using the room:
  • 8.1 Keep your face mask on at all times
  • 8.2 Ensure your mask covers the month and nose
