LIBRARY SYSTEM UPGRADE!!

Please note that the Library Catalogue will not be accessible from 8:00 pm, Wednesday, 19 December 2018 to 6:00 am, Thursday, 20 December 2018 due to the upgrade.

As such, renewal of library items will not possible during this period. Please renew your borrowed library items before or after the shutdown period. For returns, please use Book Return 1 or Book Return 2 which operate 24 hours daily.

E-databases and other library resources are accessible during this period.

RENOVATION AT LIBRARY GROUND & MEZZANINE LEVELS 17-28 DEC 2018

Please note the following:

• The Library Mezzanine Level will be CLOSED to users.
• Users wishing to enter the Library will go through the side entrance beside the Main Entrance on the Ground Level. Library staff will be on duty there to ensure security of library materials. Thank you for your cooperation.
• As the renovation involves hacking, there will be some noise.  Kindly proceed to the Basement Level of the Library or other suitable areas on c­­­ampus for your study purposes.

LIBRARY OPENING HOURS ON 15TH DEC 2018 – 1ST JAN 2019

Please be informed that the Library opening hours from 15^th December 2018 until 1^st January 2019 will be as follows:

The Extended Hour Area Entrance will be CLOSED during this period. For access to the Mezzanine Level, users are advised to enter the Main Entrance on the Ground Level, and use the staircase or lift to the Mezzanine Level.

REVISION OF LOAN PRIVILEGES FOR ONE-WEEK LOAN AND RESERVE COLLECTION TEXTBOOKS

This is to inform that the Library has revised loan privileges for 1-Week Loan and 4-Hour Loan Collections. This is to enable more students to borrow TEXTBOOKS particularly during the examination period.

The revised loan privileges are as follows:

The new loan privileges would be effective from 20^th November 2018. Loan privileges for other collections remain unchanged.

PROBLEM WITH USING INTERNET EXPLORER TO ACCESS LIBRARY’S E-RESOURCES

Please be informed that users within the Sunway Campus will not be able to access the Library’s  e-resources  using Internet Explorer.

ITS is working hard to resolve the problem. Meanwhile, please use Mozilla Fire Fox or Chrome  to access the e-resources until the problem is rectified.
